11+ MOCK EXAMS

This summer, we are running 11+ mock exams designed to replicate the experience of the real thing.

Held at our studio in Buckingham, these sessions will give your child insight into what they can expect on exam day; helping to reduce anxiety and boost performance.

We’re running three mock exam dates over the summer holidays: 28th July, 11th August, and 25th August. Each session runs from 10:00am to 1:45pm and is limited to just eight children to ensure a calm and focused environment.

What to Expect on the Day

Each child will sit four timed tests: Maths, Non-Verbal Reasoning, English, and Verbal Reasoning. The structure and timings of the day follow the same format as the real 11+ exam providing your child with invaluable experience in managing their time and working under pressure.

This isn’t just a practice run it’s an opportunity for your child to build stamina, familiarity, and readiness. By going through the full exam process in a supportive setting, they’ll gain insight into what the actual day will be like, giving them a strong advantage.

Confidence Through Familiarity

Walking into a high-stakes exam can be daunting, especially when it’s unfamiliar. Our mock exams help ease those nerves by showing your child exactly what to expect. They’ll become familiar with the types of questions, the format of the paper, and the pace they’ll need to work at.

Most importantly, they’ll realise that the 11+ isn’t as scary as it seems. With the knowledge and experience gained through the mock exam, they’ll feel much more confident and capable when they sit the real thing in September.

Detailed Feedback to Focus Future Learning

After the exam, I will carefully mark each test and provide you with a detailed report on your child’s performance. This report will highlight areas where they’re doing well and identify the specific topics or question types where they may need more support.

You’ll also receive tailored next steps and recommended resources to help your child target these areas in the weeks before the real exam. This kind of feedback makes your child’s revision time much more effective and focused, ensuring they get the support they truly need.
